Michelle Kearney

Integrative Therapist

Hello — if you’ve found yourself here, you might be thinking about therapy and that can feel like a big step. Many people worry about what they’ll say or whether their problems are “serious enough”. You don’t need to have the right words, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before you come.

I am a relational integrative therapist, In practice, this means I don’t work in a one-size-fits-all way — I draw on different therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, person-centred, Gestalt, CBT and mindfulness, so our work can be shaped around you and what you need right now.

I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and at your own pace. I don’t see people as needing to be “fixed”. Often, when we have the space to slow down, feel heard, and sit safely with difficult emotions, things begin to make more sense and change becomes possible. My role is to be alongside you as you make sense of what you’re experiencing and find a way forward.

In our sessions we pay attention to what is happening in the present moment, while gently exploring how past experiences may still be influencing how you feel, relating to others, and how you see yourself today.
